My Pod

This took me a few days over a few weeks

The biggest problem with not completing a project for me is that with enough time I think of a version 2 for the project. Then it's much harder to keep momentum on version 1. Completing projects faster isn't always healthy or desirable. So I need to practice the skill of completing version 1's despite having a clear imagining of version 2.

I design it in inkscape

The design is based on the materials I had on hand. Then I built what I designed. This was the most enjoyable part of this project so far. However, I continued building outside the scope of my design and began to have regrets on various decisions I made.

Then a friend came over and we finished the roof arch insulation and adding a shelf for the AC unit. All with the vibe of fuck it let's just do it. When the dust settled I was left feeling very discouraged. For instance, The AC unit isn't centered or off centered in a useful way.

Non-designed interior

A new perspective has entered my mind though recently. I would learn so much on how to build a better version 2 by living in this completed version 1. And it really wouldn't take much to complete. I will write my next plog after spending my first night in a completed version 1.
